We took this vehicle in as a part x many years ago, and on first sight it looked like it had been pushed out of the field by a bull, it did not have a straight panel on it and one of the doors was held on with baling twine, but something still shone through! The bulkhead was like new and it was one of the very first 300 TDi engines, before the EGR valve addition and under 100k miles.

After stripping the vehicle down to a rolling chassis and a very needed steam clean, the original chassis reappeared with the wax from the factory still on it in places. The vehicle had literally driven out of the show room, onto the farm and got coated in real Bull S ! It lived in a barn in the evenings and probable never got into 5th gear.

It took a few years to get around to it – but it was always the plan for it to become the very first Retro Rover – destined to cruise the strip and tow vehicles to and from the docks.
